Double Cute!

Trent likes to sit on the bathroom counter in his Bumbo while mommy puts on her makeup and fixes her hair. He very much enjoys looking at himself and talking to himself in the mirror.  He knows it's him and not some other baby. Its fun!!

Growing Up

My baby is growing up so fast. Here are some updates on him:

He is getting around in his little car so well!

 

The other day I went outside to load the car and he was roving around by the laundry room (other side of the house) and when I turned around look who was in the doorway! He loves to be outside. =)

He is Standing very well thanks to his little car.

He did not pull himself up into this position. Mommy stood him there. =)

 And the other day at Gammer's house she stood him in the window to look outside.

He is pushing up on his hands and knees and rocking back and forth!

  He does it about 15-20 times each day depending on how long he has floor time.

This picture is awful but I didn't have my real camera on me. I'll try to get a good one soon.

First Tooth Brushing!

We brushed Trent's little teefs for the first time last week. He loved it! I figured he would because he is always watching us brush our teeth and smiling. He's cutting more teeth on the bottom so pretty soon there will be much more to brush!

Ok first I just have to show you him in the cute robe Erin got for him before he was even born. He wore it for the first time last night. SO cute....and short. haha

Here he is holding his toothbrush and chowing down. Mommy brushed them before relinquishing control.

All dressed for bed and still chewing on that thing! He flipped it around and that bumpy end actually makes a good teether. =)

Today is mommy's birthday and Trent has been SUCH a good boy for her. He slept until 7:40 without waking up or crying in the night. He went down VERY easy for his morning nap and even easier for his afternoon nap, which was 2 hours long! That's my boy! Now we are going to go out and about running errands! =)

First Haircut!

Trent had his very first haircut last week. He REALLY needed it. =) The top was getting so long that it looked stringy. 

And of course I did it myself. I wasn't going to take him and pay someone to do something so simple. It just took a few snips. 

He was such a good boy! He just kept looking up at the scissors. He's so curious!

Joseph Theodore - 22 Weeks

Sweet boy!

This boy is already kicking pretty hard and now I can feel him moving around, not just kicking. I have a feeling the belly deformation is coming soon. =) I can already see the kicks sometimes. Fun!! It's just not fun when he kicks really low, like straight down. Yow!

He is growing well and doing great! The doctor had no concerns. =)

We also set a date to induce! That is, of course, if he doesn't come on his own before that. I'm due July 4th and we set the date for June 27th! That's one day before uncle Jeff's birthday! And it's only one week before the due date. I have a feeling, though, that he will make his entrance early just like his brother. We will see as it gets closer! 

We can't wait to meet this angel. =) I hope he looks more like his daddy since Trent looks more like me. That would be so fun! We shall see!

On All Fours

Look at my big boy!! I set him down on the floor the other day and this is how he landed. He stayed like that for about a minute. =) A day or so before that he pushed up on his knees and rocked back and forth. I almost cried. Emotional mommy!

Mars Rover and Updates

So we got Trent this jumper/walker for Christmas and it was definitely a GREAT purchase. Technically it's called an adventure walker but we named it the Mars Rover. He loves the thing. For a while he would just go nuts bouncing in it, but we finally put the wheels on. He roves all OVER the place. He can make the rounds around the entire downstairs. Our bottom floor is basically a "circle" with the staircase in the middle.

Here is a biggie. Yesterday morning we were hanging out in the living room while mommy watched her Monday night shows on the DVR. He was rolling and scooting on the ground. He pushed UP on his knees and rocked back and forth!!! Unfortunately he only did it once and my camera battery was dead anyway. Ugh. I was so excited! I almost cried. Lately the closest thing he's done to that is push up on his hands and toes and grunt. It's so funny!
