Passing the Time

So, you may have been wondering what Trent does while I'm busy in the art room making things for my shop. Here is the answer.

There is always lots of smiling of course. =)

He usually has a bottle 

We had to stop hanging out in this thing because he learned how to turn over in it. One morning I actually found him turned over and halfway out of it in his room. He had been sleeping in it because of his yucky throat junk.

Sometimes he acts silly...well, most of the time.

Sometimes he likes to pull his blanket over his head.

Sometimes he plays with toys. Ok those beads are from Michelle and Klint's wedding in New Orleans but I let him have them a few times (not since I noticed the paint chipping! Erg)

P.S. This photo is not from October. We just ran out of clean bibs.

Sometimes he just plays with things he finds around the room. It takes him about 5 seconds to find something he shouldn't have. =)

He loves to splash!

Trent is finally able to sit up steadily in the tub. He's been sitting up pretty good for a while, but we didn't want to sit him up in the bath right away. Now he can splash his hands! He loves hitting the water.

I can't believe I got a video to upload! Maybe that snow one was just too long. 

TMEA - Trent's First Vacation

We took Trent with us to the Texas Music Educators Association convention in San Antonio last week. He is such a good little traveler. We love it! He had one screamy night, but we think that was due to teething. Here he is on the bed in his second hotel ever!

And here he is with his Auntie Michelle and Unkie Klint. Daddy is in the background.

We wish they lived closer. =(

It was a great trip and Trent got to meet a lot of our college friends for the first time. Yay!!

It's a Boy!

We are so thrilled to have another boy! I am still shocked that it's a boy though. I am only the third person out of three generations of my family to have two boys in a row - my grandma, my Aunt and me...Crazy! We are so happy that Trent will have a best friend right at home. I hope we get another perfect sweetheart! 

His name is Joseph Theodore.

He definitely does NOT like it when mommy lays on her back. 

Now we can finally plan! We need to pick out fabrics and get his furniture. Thankfully, my sister has baby furniture we can use. It's a really pretty brown with a nice hutch. I can't wait! And hopefully we can get a glider. That will be so nice to have while he's teeny tiny. 

Snow!

Trent got to play in the snow today! It was so cute. Probably one of the cutest things ever. We sat him on a white trash bag and he just explored! Joel did a video on his phone. Yay!

Not sure what to think!

Probably more of a "Daddy, why are you putting me down" face than a "I don't like this" face. 

"Hey what's that stuff? And why is my booty cold?"

He was way more interested in the plastic because it makes noise. haha

Oh man....so cute.

He built a snow man! ....we didn't help at all. ;)
